Who Are The Young Professionals?
NIT offers two pathways to access exceptional talent:
- Eager Vocational students ready to launch their careers in entry-level jobs; and
- Experienced Professional Year students, fresh from Australian universities with Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees.
Both groups share a burning desire for real-world experience and are dedicated to proving their capabilities. Interns from NIT will come ready to roll up their sleeves, contribute fresh perspectives, and tackle your challenges with dedication.
How Is The Internship Unpaid?
Professional Year students must complete 32 weeks of Professional Development training, followed by 10 to 12 weeks of unpaid internship in Australia. Completing this program will help the graduates attain migration goals as specified by the Department of Home Affairs. Additionally, our young professionals come from diverse nationalities and are on a 485 graduate visa with full work rights.
Internships are not mandatory for our Vocational students. After completing the HYPE Program (our work readiness workshop), young professionals can opt to do an internship to gain meaningful work experience and skills that align with their career goals.
